Syn®‑Coll Peptide

A clinical-grade collagen synthesis stimulator. The most specific, evidence-backed firming active in the complex ÔÇö and the reason the serum delivers measurable results at Day 7.

What is Syn®-Coll Peptide?

Syn┬«-Coll is the trade name for Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, a synthetic peptide consisting of three amino acids (Glycine-Histidine-Lysine) with a palmitoyl fatty acid chain attached. The tripeptide sequence mimics a natural collagen fragment produced during the skin’s collagen breakdown cycle ÔÇö a fragment that signals fibroblasts (the dermal cells that produce collagen) to upregulate Type I collagen synthesis. The palmitoyl tail increases the peptide’s lipophilicity, allowing it to penetrate the stratum corneum and reach the dermal fibroblasts where it acts.

The clinical evidence

In vitro studies on human dermal fibroblasts show that Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 increases Type I collagen production by up to 4.5├ù compared to untreated control cells. In the Advanced Repair Serum formula, clinical evaluation (n=32, age 45ÔÇô60, 28-day study) showed +47% perceived skin firmness and +22% surface smoothness measured by profilometry at Day 7. These results are not from the peptide alone ÔÇö they reflect the full High-Tech Complex working in synergy ÔÇö but the Syn┬«-Coll Peptide provides the primary collagen-stimulating signal.

Why not just use any peptide?

The peptide market in cosmetics has grown substantially, but most peptides in skincare are included at concentrations too low to produce meaningful skin changes, or they lack the delivery mechanism to penetrate to the cells that matter. Syn®-Coll is selected because the specific tripeptide sequence (GHK) has the most published evidence of any cosmetic peptide for dermal fibroblast activation, and because the palmitoyl chain solves the penetration problem. We use it at the clinically referenced concentration.

In the ritual

Syn┬«-Coll Peptide is concentrated highest in the Advanced Repair Serum (Step 2). The 24h Regeneration Cream (Step 4) contains it at a maintenance concentration designed to sustain the collagen-stimulating signal over 24 hours after the serum has been absorbed. This two-step delivery ÔÇö high dose then sustained release ÔÇö is why the protocol outperforms either product used alone.
